Configurable PDF Sales Drawings Offered For Download To Assist In Board Level Shielding Design Process

Plymouth, MA….Tech-Etch offers downloadable interactive PDF sales drawings that let the user design standard 1-piece, 2-piece, or low-profile board level shields. The user simply fills in required dimensions and then chooses available options to complete the drawing, such as surface or through hole mounting, materials, and finish. PDFs are available for economical, standard one-piece designs with depth-etched bend lines for easy hand forming, standard two-piece designs that utilize a spring-finger style attachment between fence and cover, as well as standard low-profile, two-piece board level shielding with heights as low as .060”. The photo etching process provides complete design freedom and fast delivery. There is no tooling cost for all standard designs or for holes and slots for heat dissipation, logos and part numbers.
