This standard fully encompasses ISO 9001 and specifies additional quality and safety practices which endorsed by the Department of Defense (DOD), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), and International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) Tech Etch has maintained ISO 9001 certifications since 1994 and AS9100 certifications since 2000. ISO 13485 – Medical Device (Plymouth) ISO 13485 is driven by the need for regulators and customers to ensure that the medical devices placed on the market are safe and effective. It has been written to support medical device manufacturers and supply chain with a practical foundation to address FDA Current Good Manufacturing Practices (FDA CGMP), EU Medical Device Regulation (EU MDR), and customer requirements.
